why MaLink?

There's a saying that opposites attract, and in this case, I think it's possible. Link and Malon differ greatly in personality, but they still have enough in common to be considered compatible. Like other pairings in the TLoZ fandom, the coupling receives a lot of hatred and resentment from those who support other pairings, and that's just not right. MaLink keeps the fairtytale romance that the Link/Zelda pairing has, but it appeals to those who support the peasant girl being swept off her feet by the knight in shining armor- just what Malon herself secretly wishes for!
